About the Morning Social

Stronger Together

Join us as we roll out our sleeping bags and gather around the campfire for the networking event of the season!

This year, we’re bringing the spirit of summer camp to the Taggart Parkes Family Clubhouse to celebrate community champions, businesses and philanthropists who help guide Ottawa’s youth. Just like a great camping trip, we navigate challenges together, learn important lessons and life skills, build resilience through problem solving, and support one another... the lessons of camp reflect the life-changing programs BGC Ottawa delivers every day.

As the sun rises, we’ll come together over coffee, a light breakfast and powerful stories of resilience and impact. Like campfire tales that spark inspiration, these moments will ignite new opportunities and light the way for Ottawa’s youth. When we stand united in support of young people, we don’t just build a brighter future – we prove that we are Stronger Together.

Start your day with inspiration, connection, and purpose; join us at the Morning Social!

A Message from

Our CEO

For more than 100 years, BGC Ottawa has been there for our community, thanks to you.

We provide children and youth with a safe, positive space between the realities of home life and the pressures of school – a place where they can play, create, connect, and grow into their best selves.

Over the decades, we’ve adapted to meet the needs of our city’s youth. From woodworking and boxing in the 1920s, to today where we are serving thousands young people with FREE, life-changing programs across 31 neighbourhoods.

Our four Clubhouses, satellite location, and Camp Smitty – BGC Ottawa’s incredible overnight camp – are places where children and teens feel empowered, included, and part of a community that rises together.

Join us on May 15 as we celebrate the impact of community support and the strength of young people, while raising funds to continue building brighter futures for those who need it most.

Show your support for BGC Ottawa today and stand with us as we lift our community, together.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Adam Joiner.
