CHEZ 106, in partnership with the Ottawa Police Association, has been supporting the important work being done by the BGC Ottawa team for years with DEEDS. In 2021, we donated thousands of dollars in new sports equipment to the Don McGahan Clubhouse, in 2022 the SOLD-OUT Biggs and Barr Mini Masters was a fundraiser for BGC Ottawa, and last September we helped ensure kids started the school year with fresh produce. Three Clubhouses in Ottawa received a delivery of more than $5,000 in fresh produce locally grown.
To be able to help even more kids in Ottawa, this past winter Rogers Radio and The Snowsuit Fund partnered with BGC Ottawa for the 50/50 For the City. Knowing the importance of these two local charities, our radio listeners purchased more than $900,000 in tickets over 45 days.
Together, we can create a bright future for Ottawa kids. We are proud to do our little part to ensure BGC Ottawa can continue supporting our community.

On behalf of our amazing committee, we want you to know that although the event is for a critical cause, this is not your typical Gala. We are curating a unique and fun-focused night under the stars with several surprise experiences.
Coastal inspired food prepared by Ottawa’s top restaurants will be created on small plates to easily access and enjoy throughout the evening, while cocktails that taste like paradise will be expertly crafted by incredible mixologists.
You will spend the night connecting with an inspiring group of people with the same goal of joining together to support thousands of children and youth, many living in Ottawa’s most vulnerable neighbourhoods. Then you will dance the night away under the twinkling stars on the Great Lawn of the Rideau Canoe Club, all while you help to build a stronger community for local kids.
