BGC Ottawa's Seaside Soirée Glamping Gala: A Memorable Evening of Generosity and Community Impact
BGC Ottawa's recent sold-out Seaside Soirée Glamping Gala was a resounding success, blending relaxation, fine dining, and camaraderie in a picturesque setting. Held at the Rideau Canoe Club behind the TomlinsonFamily Foundation Clubhouse, the event left attendees basking in the warmth of shared enthusiasm and generosity.
The event showcased exquisite coastal-inspired dishes and cocktails crafted by some of Ottawa's top chefs and mixologists, all set against the backdrop of a stunning sunset and gentle breezes. It was the perfect farewell to summer, while also making a significant difference in the lives of thousands of young people.
The outpouring of support from attendees and sponsors was remarkable, with the event raising over $630,000 for BGC Ottawa's barrier-free, life-changing programs and critical services. Many guests committed to helping reopen Clubhouses on Saturdays. This commitment to community is a testament to the collective effort and compassion of everyone involved.
