BGC Ottawa hosted a small socially distanced gathering to unveil the NEW Ron Kolbus Kitchen, honoring a much-needed renovation project that our Staff and our young people have been eagerly waiting for.
MP Vandenbeld, MPP Roberts, Adam Joiner, CEO, and BGC Ottawa Members, Amillia, and Eshander spoke about the importance of this facility update, and how it will be used to nourish the young minds at the Club.
A huge and heartfelt thanks to the Red Roof House Foundation. Their funding made this critical renovation possible so we can provide more healthy snacks to our members. We know a key element to student learning is not to learn on an empty stomach.
Thanks to Robertson Martin Architects loyal and long-time supporters of the Club, and Maple General Contractors, for moving this renovation forward, despite delays, and a global pandemic.
